The Armenian traditional costume – taraz, is not only nice but it also reflects many events from the history of the nation. At the end of summer, in the very center of Yerevan is held a colorful festival at which the guests of the country can see various clothing that wore the ancestors of the modern Armenians.
Themed photo sessions in taraz are organized at the festival, original souvenirs are sold: carpets, designer dolls, products of modern designers with folk elements and patterns. The event is accompanied by traditional music performed by the best ensembles of Yerevan.
