It is part of the National History Museum of Armenia
It is part of the National History Museum of Armenia and is located in the very center of the city. In the specious halls are presented unique collections of paintings of Armenian masters. A special place is devoted to the works of Martiros Saryan, Minas Avetisyan and Ivan Aivazovsky (Hovhannes Ayvazyan).
The gallery has several departments: the Western European art, Russian paintings and graphics. During the tour, tourists will be able to get acquainted with the masterpieces of such famous artists as P.P. Rubens, Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, K. Bryullov, K. Petrov-Vodkin, etc. The museum also regularly hosts thematic exhibitions that exhibit exponents from every corner of the world.
