Erebuni Museum

At the foot of the Erebuni fortress there is the world's only Museum of the history of Urartu. In 728, on the hill, which is now located in the outskirts of Yerevan, an ancient city was founded, which became the start of the modern capital of Armenia. Today, tourists have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the fortress and see from the top of the hill a beautiful panorama of the city.

In the museum there are different cultural and everyday objects. The visitors are especially attracted by the cuneiform collection. Successfully decrypted stone tablets tell about the historical events and everyday life of the residents of Urartu. Besides, tourists have the chance to get acquainted with the dynasties of the ancient state rulers and the history of the country.
